Absolutely one of my favorite hideaways in the Bay Area off HWY 1. While I love the sun, I also  love the cool fog rolling in at Pacifica’s Rockaway Beach. I've never hiked up the little hill with the 'Rockaway Beach' sign, but after many visits, I realized it's just something someone put there—sometimes, you can see the words falling apart. I imagine they’re made of some kind of rocks. Anyways, the waves here never fail to roar as I sit and contemplate life. I can listen to the waves for hours.
